The Azerbaijan Pharmaceutical and Pharmacotherapy Journal commenced its publication journey in 2001, releasing two issues annually in Azerbaijani exclusively in print format until 2021. Unfortunately, due to various unavoidable reasons, publication was suspended in 2022. In response to the evolving demands of the modern world, the journal underwent a transformative shift in 2023 by embracing an open-access online publication model in the English language. This strategic transition resulted in a substantial surge in submissions. In light of this increased demand and to better serve the scholarly community, the editorial board made the decision to enhance the frequency of publication. Consequently, starting from 2024 and continuing onwards, the Azerbaijan Pharmaceutical and Pharmacotherapy Journal is committed to publishing six issues per year, fostering a more dynamic and frequent dissemination of pharmaceutical and pharmacotherapy research.
